Brix Bounty Farm 2024 Summertime CSA Dates

~16 Week Season:  June 4th /June 7th – Oct 1st/4th

Tuesdays or Fridays Pickup – 2PM-7PM

Invest in Your Health… Join the 2024 Brix Bounty Farm Summertime CSA.  16 weeks of farm fresh vegetables grown with an emphasis on nutrition, quality, & flavor; vegetables grown with respect for the earth and future generations; vegetables grown without synthetic fungicides, herbicides, or pesticides.  Growing a Foundation for Health Starts in the Soil.

What is in a Vegetable Share (vegetables grouped by family)

Alliums:  Garlic, Leeks, Onions, Scallions, Shallots

Chenopods:  Beets, Spinach, Swiss Chard             Greens                 

Herbs:  Basil, Cilantro, Dill, Parsley, Sage

Brassicas:  Arugula, Asian Greens, Broccoli, Cabbage, Chinese Cabbage, Kale, Kohlrabi, Radishes, Pac Choi, Turnips

Cucurbits:  Cucumbers, Melons, Sugar Pumpkins, Summer Squash and Zucchini, Winter Squash, Watermelon

Legumes:  String Beans and Sugar Snap Peas                          

Umbels:  Carrots, Celery, Celeriac, Fennel

Nightshades:  Eggplant, Tomatoes (Cherry, Heirloom, Paste, & Slicing), Hot and Sweet Peppers

 Our shares are grown and produced entirely by us on our farm on Bakerville Road.

2024 Brix Bounty Farm CSA Pick Up Details

 

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) allows consumers to develop deeper connection to where their food is grown.    Through this relationship, we hope you’ll come to think of Brix Bounty Farm as your farm.

2024 will be our 15th season offering CSA shares at Brix Bounty Farm.  Before starting Brix Bounty Farm, I’ve grown vegetables for CSA programs while farming at Waltham Fields Community Farm (Waltham, MA) and Hawthorne Valley Farm (Harlemville, NY).  Our CSA at Brix Bounty Farm is a central part of our farm; in 2024 we’ll be actively cropping ~5 acres for our 80 member Summertime CSA, Farmstand, Farmers Market, and our Wintertime CSA.

Coming in November 2024 – Our Wintertime CSA Share (Fresh Greens, Roots, and Storage Crops) offering ~10 distributions through May 2025.
