Why Crypto ?
We have previously not utilized credit card transactions at the farmtstand because we didn’t want to pay the network fees (typically 1.9% – 2.75% plus a $.10 – $.30 per transaction fee – this can really add up for small transactions).
Enter crypto networks, where the fees for transactions are significantly less and thereby provide us an affordable way to help our customers make mobile payments if they aren’t carrying cash at the farmstand.
As of Fall 2022 – we have three options you can use to make mobile payments at the farmstand

In order to use Solana you’ll need to have SOL to cover transaction costs.
